In fiscal 2007 and 2008, Toyotas unit sales levels were highest in March of each year, with approximately 10% to 11% of annual unit sales generated during that month, and for each of the remaining months, its unit sales have generated approximately 7% to 9% of its annual unit sales. Fiscal 2009 was an exception, as the rapid contraction of automotive markets had a greater impact on sales than seasonal fluctuations.
