In 2007 TNP added 9 new vessels, 8 of which went on long term charter. Also, acquired first LNG vessel. Finally, several of the new tankers have ice breaking capability, giving higher revenue rates delivering petroleum products to frozen north shore of Russia.
There is little downside for a company trading at 7 times trailing earnings and with a 5.4% dividend yield. Analysts are predicting negative growth. Positive earnings surprises could sky rocket stock price. (5.5.2008)
