With the U.S. economy in a recession, tight credit, and slackening demand growth across the globe for energy, it'll take a while for electricity prices to rebound. The price of natural gas, coal, and uranium have all fallen drastically. The fact is, wind turbines are only in demand when they can make money. Now, the number of projects where that is true is less than before. That's clear from the fact that capacity growth forecasts are down 10% for 2009.
