Vestas Gets A Big Order Vestas received an order for the supply and commissioning of 22 wind turbines with a 5 year service agreement. Q3 Earnings Below Expectations Q3 earnings were $205M, approximately $17M less than estimates. Vestas opens first U.S. manufacturing plant In Windsor, Colorado, Vestas opened its first U.S. manufacturing plant: a windmill blade-making facility that will eventually employ 650 workers and pump out enough blades to make 600 turbines each year.
