Michigan-based Visteon Corporation (VC) is one of the world's largest automotive component manufacturers, catering to both original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and the aftermarket. The company has 49,000 employees with 170 facilities in 24 countries. The company has five segments: Climate (29%), Electronics (30%), Interiors (26%), Other and Services (15%). The company is globally second in the Climate and Interiors business and fourth in the Electronics business. Visteon's operations extend to Europe and other regions. The North American market contributed 32% of revenues, Europe 43%, while Asia contributed 25%. Ford is Visteon's largest customer, and accounts for approximately 45% of its revenue. The next five largest customers account for 13% of sales. The company sells components to the world's largest vehicle manufacturers including Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (BMW), DAIMLERCHRYSLER AG (DAI), Ford Motor Company (F), General Motors, Honda, Hyundai/Kia, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Toyota and Volkswagen.
