Designation by Participant. Each Participant may designate a Beneficiary or Beneficiaries who shall, upon his death, receive the death benefits, if any, payable pursuant to Sections 4.1 and 4.3. The Participant’s Beneficiary under this Plan shall be the Beneficiary designated by the Participant in the Special Beneficiary Designation filed under the Company’s Group Life Insurance Plan unless the Participant files a written notice of a different Beneficiary Designation in such form as the Committee requires. The form may include contingent Beneficiaries. A Beneficiary Designation shall be effective when filed during the Participant’s life, in accordance with applicable Company procedures, and shall cancel and revoke all prior designations.
