The Board of Directors of Waddell & Reed Financial, Inc. (NYSE: WDR)
approved a quarterly dividend on its Class A common stock of $0.19 per
share payable on November 2, 2009 to stockholders of record as of
October 2, 2009.
Waddell & Reed Financial, Inc. will announce third quarter 2009 earnings
before trading begins on the New York Stock Exchange, Tuesday, October
27, 2009. Henry J. Herrmann, chief executive officer, will host a
conference call on October 27th at 10:00 a.m. Eastern. To
