10.6 Non-Alienation
(a)
Except as otherwise permitted by the Plan, no benefit payable at any time under the Plan shall be subject to the debts or liabilities of a Participant or his Beneficiary. Any
attempt to alienate, sell, transfer, assign, pledge, or otherwise encumber any such benefit, whether presently or thereafter payable, shall be void. Except as provided in this Plan section, no benefit under the Plan shall be subject in any manner to
attachment, garnishment, or encumbrance of any kind.
(b)
Payment may be made from a Participants Retirement Income to an alternate payee, pursuant to a domestic relations order.

The Committee shall establish reasonable written procedures for reviewing court orders made, pursuant to state domestic relations law (including a community property law), relating
to child support, alimony payments, or marital property rights of a Spouse, child, or other dependent of a Participant and for notifying Participants and alternate payees of the receipt of such orders and of the Plans procedures for
determining if the orders are approved domestic relations orders and for administering distributions under domestic relations orders.
(2)
Except as may otherwise be required by applicable law, such domestic relations orders may not require a retroactive transfer of all or part of a Participants Retirement
Income.
