




The Warnaco Group, Inc. (NYSE: WRC) today announced the appointment of Michael Prendergast as President of its Chaps® division. Mr. Prendergast will oversee design, development, merchandising, marketing and sales for the Chaps® brand and will report directly to Frank Tworecke, President of the Sportswear Group.
Prendergast joins Warnaco from ROC Apparel, LLC, where he served as Group President for Rocawear. Previously, he spent seven years with Tommy Hilfiger, where he held senior leadership positions including Senior Vice President of Sales, Planning and Retail Development - Men’s Sportswear. In addition, Prendergast worked for Fasturn, Inc. and started his career with Cluett Peabody Inc.’s The Arrow Co.
