$45 Million equity investment

Recently in June, Wilson the Leather Experts announced the closing of a $45 Million equity investment with companies Goldner Hawn Private Equity, Peninsula Investment Partners, and Quaker Capital Management Corporation. This money will be great before the holiday season where sales are so important.

Originally Berman Buckskin, they combined with Wilson's House of Suede and Leather and in 1988 became Wilsons Leather. Based out of Minneapolis, they are a large leather retailer and sell leather to other companies as well as under there own name where they sell such products as jackets, shoes, wallets, and gloves. They have 414 retail stores, 284 stores in malls, 116 outlet stores, and 14 in airports scattered across 45 of the US states.
