World Wrestling Entertainment® announced today it will make broadcast television history on October 2, 2009 by commemorating 10 years of Friday Night SmackDown®. A themed episode celebrating a “Decade of SmackDown” will air on MyNetworkTV at 8 PM ET / 7 CT. “Decade of SmackDown” will draw WWE Superstars and Divas from all WWE® shows to commemorate this milestone.
As a pop culture staple, SmackDown:
SmackDown has been instrumental in the success of each of the networks that have aired the program. The show moved to its current home, MyNetworkTV, in October 2008 and is the number one show on broadcast television on Friday nights among Males 50 and under. Friday Night SmackDown also dominates the P18-49 demographic, can be seen every Friday night at 8 PM ET on MyNetworkTV.
