Excellent and informative article. Really gave the positive and possible negatives about the company. I would like to see a section/paragraph/graph on the company's revenues/profits over the last few years. As an investor, for me the bottom line is always the money. I noticed one comment that needs to be updated: The one near the end of the article concerning the planned release of software for the Mac platform in July 2007. Has it happened or was it delayed/cancelled? Inquiring minds want to know.

Adobe is in a war with Microsoft. Adobe Air is very similar to Microsoft Silverlight and they are competing for market share.

An Impressive Company
Despite any declines in the market for ADBE, they still manage to amaze me. If you've used Photoshop, Acrobat or even the whole Macromedia series acquired earlier this year, you would know what is so interesting about this tech company.

Whether you dislike them or you just adore them, most of your programs have to rely on some sort of Adobe program (Acrobat or Acrobat Reader for PDF's, Photoshop for picture editing, etc.)

I wouldn't worry much about any declines. New products will be coming out after Christmas leading until mid-February and even heading into 2009.
