Zymetis is producing Bactranol a new ethanol (Bacterial Transformation Ethanol). It is truely an advancement in the production process of ethanol fermented directly from complex (yet easy to replicate) bacteria. I think their website is Zymetis .com (spelling?) This type of ethanol production from cellulose (cellulosic ethanol) will lead the way forward and help reduce the dependancy on corn ethanol. I don't see why farmers would continue to recieve subsidies in regards to production of ethanol from corn. Look out for anything that Vhnod Koshla has his hands in - that guy knows what he is doing - he has contracted with 'the entire state of Georgia' for their green waste material, for the production of ethanol. The days of big oil are comming to an end. The most important thing to realise is this. The really really have made huge advances with biofuels and people are demanding green (look at Clorox as an example - the company is reactionary to demands by changing all of their product lines to green). How much money will your oil stocks be worth in the future. Gates, Khosla, Pikkens (the list goes on) - are all noted for being forward thinkers - they are all in green stock in a big way. It makes sense to watch what they are doing.
