Very informative article. It is clear HP has done the right things over the last few years to become a world leader in computers and printers. As a suggestion, I think the little blurb about Windows Vista is not much of a factor anymore, that is kind of old news. I would like to know how much the rate of corporate IT spending affects HP and where that spending can be tracked.

Great article - excellent summation of the business and detailed disclosure of the key financial metrics. So, maybe it is just me, but I think it would be great if we could include paragraphs which document HP's celebrated history from the triumphs of Bill and Dave, to the board room intrigue involving Carly and Tom Perkins. That was wild stuff! In all seriousness, this is an iconic American company, and as we all know, reputation effects stock prices. Additionally, Mark Hurd and the current exec team need to be mentioned as their new strategy has dramatically improved business results.
