Why ? Honda philosophy is focus on harmonizing customer demand & environment consciousness, besides, its corporate achievement is to provide its employees with safest working environment along to its customers with safest product not to mention quality improvement on daily basis to satisfy customer product concern .... the loyalty to this brand will payoff into future as you look closely to its corporate strategies from 1948 to present time. Just for clarification purposes - Acura is sold under the Honda brand name in countries other than the U.S. and China. Therefore, Honda has a larger product range in those countries. Secondly, in the overview of Honda's fuel efficient cars, it's worth mentioning that Honda already has a functioning fuel cell automobile called the Honda FCX Clarity which will be rolled out on a limited basis in Southern California in the summer of 2008. The reviews of the car have been positive so far, and the obvious problem becomes building the infrastructure to deliver hydrogen to fueling stations. This is likely to take years. However, the fact that Honda has a functioning and wholly drivable fuel cell vehicle is likely to give them a long-term advantage versus their competitors, especially Toyota, which is milking hybrid technology for all its got. Add comments or discussion related to this suggestion here. some of the info you present in the Automotive section seems to be counter to what i've been hearing about the company; for instance, are they really focusing on lower-power vehicles? the 2008 accord has 270 hp, which is a lot for that class. also, they discontinued their hybrid accord line so it is no longer a competitive advantage. --Jay 16:21, October 5, 2007 (PDT) |
