I am confused. I always thought Janus was in the mutual fund business, but I see very little in this article about mutual funds. Wait, I go to the Janus website and they have 20 mutual funds. I think the breakdown of JNS business needs to be better thought out. Also, how about 401k investments? How well has/is Janus penetrating that market. Next, the Business Drivers make little sense to me. SEC regs must be followed by all companies, since there are something like 10,000 mutual funds, I doubt if they are much of a problem. Economic health and interest rates are too broad of themes to really help learn anything about Janus. Finally, the WikiCharts has a double annotation about the an investment manager leaving. Was he important to the company?
