This is a thorough analysis of Lexmark's business and focuses on the right issues confronting the company. Lexmark is desperately in need of a retooling, and might have to change its business model or pricing model. Maybe it makes sense for them to price their printers like Kodak does, charging a premium for the printer and then selling the cartriges for less than the remanufacturers or other competitors?
