I did not know there was a publicly traded health club company. The prospects look interesting for what I would think is a highly fragmented industry. I would like to see more about the growth plans of Lifetime Fitness. Another area of interest would be cost of member recruitment and rentention. What is the member turnover and what does the company do to improve their numbers. Did I say numbers? I always like to see at least revenues, profits and growth rates. Finally, use the WikiCharts to provide news updates. I see the stock price has taken a big hit after a history of strong positive increases, what happened?

Understandably, this is a work in progress. I would like to see the breakdown of memberships in different areas of the US. Additionally, it would be useful to consider whether fitness club membership is a luxury item which people tend to forgo if their monetary situation turns sour? What kind of membership churn has the company experienced over the years? Who are the major competitors?
