I am trying to determine why Oracle's stock price has not performed well with all the acquisitions and top and bottom line growth. Can you help explain?

Metric Discussion

I have some issues with metric data shown in the table. For a comparison with competitors I would expect the following data

• New Software License Revenues (new business/growth)
• Software License Updates and Support Revenues (recurring business/stability)
• Services Revenues (they are already shown as Professional Services)

The data for research and development have been taken from a stock compensation table rather than from page 68 of Form 10-K FY2007 and the information in the table row is misleading.
