Hi - I co-author a text book on social welfare policy, The Policy-Based Profession: An Introduction to Social Welfare Policy Analysis for Social Workers,published by Allyn and Bacon. We are currently preparing for a new edition, which involves updating our material. For the chapter on aging, I would like to know if Southwest has had to change (e.g. cut back) its pension program for employees. Thanks, Leslie Leighninger, Ph.D., School of Social Work, Arizona State University. One of the chapters is on aging. I include a section on pensions, and would like to know if Southwest has had to cut back on its pensions program during the current recession.
