In my business 101 class, 27 voted to eat at Wendy's, 20 voted to eat at McDonalds and 11 voted to eat at BurgerKing. Mom and I decided to go to Wendy's based on the above survey. We figured Wendy's must be good if everyone goes there. The service was really slow. They gave us our fries and drink real quick but it took them about 20 minutes to make a hamburger. The food was not much better than McDonalds and McDonalds you get faster service. Mom and I decided not to go to Wendy's again based on this bad experience.

Under the "Health Scares" section, it seems appropriate to report on the infamous "Finger in a bowl of chili" hoax. A woman claimed to find a human finger in her Wendy's chili, in an attempt to sue for damages. Even though the item was later found to be a hoax and the woman has been arrested, the incident damaged Wendy's reputation and it had a negative effect on sales at Wendy's. Perhaps this explains the downturn in performance in 2005-2006?
