I find smaller, local or regional banks to be wonderful investments if they are well and conservatively run. They types of banks can make nice profits year after year, pay nice dividends and avoid the pitfalls of the big money banks. They often become great values when the big boys have problems and the stocks of all banking companies are driven down, even the well run ones. I would like to know if this is than type of bank. A quick glance through the Yahoo Finance news shows this may be such a company, I hope somebody expands this article with some background and financial history to help us out.
