Leading the new generation

Hey Mike -- I removed the section you added to Cisco Systems (CSCO) earlier this evening. It seemed non-NPOV (neutral point of view) and not really substantiated by anything. Sounded like PR BS, honestly :). Are there more specifics around what this partnership with Microsoft entails? How it could really impact CSCO's business (my initial reaction is "probably not much" but show me if you think I'm wrong)? How big / important is this for them? Anyway, my initial reaction was that this isn't an essential part of hte cisco story, and regardless, it seems premature to talk about their "leadership" in this area (I mean, Cisco? A web 2.0 company? Really??) :). Let me know what you think... Parkerconrad 22:59, November 7, 2007 (PST)

PS -- I should point out you can access the older version of the article via the "history" button. Parkerconrad 23:04, November 7, 2007 (PST)

Mike, are you trying to say that Cisco will ride the wave of thin computing? If so, I can see how that is a compelling growth area. However, unless there is substantive data (e.g., existing products and revenue) around this, I'd throw that paragraph into the bulls section. BTW, link it to the Software as a Service concept page--they seem very related. --10:33, November 8, 2007 (PST)Jay
