Jason, thx for the motivation. Yeah, I was a Bundesbank watcher for Reuters and then I read William Greider's "Secrets in the Temple", IMHO by far the best and most extensive book on the Fed. It is interesting as Greider himself turns more and more into a critic of the Fed from page to page. I will strive to add more historical perspectives on central banks here. best Toni
