Operating Margin

Hey -- welcome to Wikinvest, and thanks for helping to clarify operating income and operating margin. I always get confused about the differences between the various kinds of margin - perhaps you'd consider helping to clarify things further on Net Profit Margin, Gross margin, Profit margins... the latter one would be a good place to explain why someone might look at net vs grosss for operating...

Image Uploading

Hi Arpan -

I saw that you uploaded a bunch of images onto Wikinvest, but that you didn't place them into any articles.

Do you know how to put an image into an article? You just type [[Image:NAME.png]].

You can also specify where it goes on the page, and add a caption - like this [[Image:NAME.png|thumb|sizepx|center|captiontexthere]] - you can specify the size (like, 450px for example), whether it goes right, center, or left on the page, and add a caption.

Anyhow I hope you keep contributing to Wikinvest, and that you enjoy using the site! Be in touch if you have any questions or comments about wikinvest - a link to my userpage is below.

Hi Arpan,

Nice addition to the Forex page -- if you see other pages that could use examples to better explain definitions / concepts / etc., feel free to add them.

Always great to see you back on the site and thanks for the Tier 1 Capital Ratio% additions. Any chance you could add this content to this page instead -- Tier 1 Capital Ratio -- so it would have the charts associated with it as well? Once you do that, let me know and we can simply redirect this page to that one.
