Back-to-School Season

Back-to-School Season is composed of July and August, when families typically make clothing and wholesale purchases for their children in the upcoming school year. On average, parents with two children spend $550 during back-to-school season, according to American Express.[1] Analysts are expecting 2010 back-to-school sales to rise 16% compared to the 2009 season.[2] The 2010 back-to-school season is off to a slow start, however.[3]
