Business Profile DLF (DLF) is a leading real estate developer based in New Delhi. It was originally incorporated as American Universal Electric (India) on Jul. 4, 1963, and got its current name on May 27, 2006.

The company operates under the segments of residential, commercial retail, hotels, infrastructure and SEZs. The company develops residential, commercial and retail properties. DLF has bagged a major project to develop a new Bangalore city in Bidadi following a global tender issued by Bangalore Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (BMRDA) valued in excess of Rs 500,000 million, the single largest investment in real estate in India. Other major developments are the definitive agreements between DLF and the Aman Resorts group, which owns Aman Resorts, the world`s leading hospitality and lifestyle business with 22 luxury hotels in 12 countries and a memorandum of understanding with Gayatri Projects, one of the leading infrastructure companies in India, to develop roads and highway projects across the country.
