This consists of all the new drugs that are in clinical or preclinical testing.
After preclinical tests, the drugs go through clinical tests, usually noted as Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III before the new product launch. The drug pipeline is important because this contains the drugs under development that the company and its investors hope will grow to become mega-successful cash cows.
