GDP Flash Estimates are produced using a more incomplete set of information to give the earliest picture of the economy. It is considered as more timely as compared to GDP announcements. However, some economists are skeptical of the flash statistics as they may trigger an unwarranted reaction in the stock and bond markets.[1]
