Geographic RegionInvestments may be made in particular regions of the world that may be more sensitive to economic, business political or other changes affecting issuers of securities of the area. [1]
Geographical regions are selected terrestrial socioeconomic groupings mostly described by their imprecisely defined, and sometimes-transitory boundaries, that describes areas of distinct ethnicity habitats. Except where jurisdiction areas such as national borders are clearly defined in law.
Global regions are those areas of the planet that are easily distinguishable by the two basic terrestrial environments, land, and water. They are divided into largest of land regions, known as continents, and the largest of water regions known as oceans.
