LEGRAND HISTORY IN CHINA [1]
Legrand started its operations in China in the beginning of the 1990’s. Almost 20 years after its entrance on the Chinese market, Legrand is still expanding itself through companies’ acquisitions.
Headquartered in Shanghai, Legrand has developed a strong sales force and distributors’ network all over the country.
Legrand is employing in the country more than 6 000 people allocated between one headquarter, seven subsidiaries and eight factories, with installations in Hohot, Beijing, Wuxi, Shanghai, Huizhou, Dongguan, Shenzhen and Hong.
Legrand group in China is covering all major cities with a complete network of more than 100 sales branch offices through 45 cities. The distribution of our solutions passes through a large progessional network of distributors or integrators established in all medium and large sized cities throughout China.
In 2010, Legrand group in China is managing six commercial brands in the country represented by Tcl-legrand, Shidean, Legrand, Cablofil, Ortronics and Bticino. All of these brands enable Legrand to propose to its customers integrated solutions for any kind of project.
