Mini-Soybean futures are traded on the Chicago Board of Trade under ticker symbol YK in cents per bushel. For electronic trading sessions, the symbol XK is used.[1]
Mini-Soybean futures are delivered every year in January, March, May, July, August, September, & November.[1]

Contract Specifications
Contract Size
One Mini-Soybean futures contract on the Chicago Board of Trade is 1,000 bushels.[1]
Daily Price Limit
$0.70 per bushel expandable to $1.05 and then to $1.60 when the market closes at limit bid or limit offer. There shall be no price limits on the current month contract on or after the second business day preceding the first day of the delivery month.[1]
Trading Hours
On the CME Globex electronic platform: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM and 9:30 AM - 1:45 PM US central time, Sunday - Friday.[1]
Open Outcry (pit session): Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 1:45 PM, US central time.[1]
Last Trading Day
Trading of Mini-Soybean futures contracts on the Chicago Board of Trade ends on the business day prior to the 15th calendar day of the contract month.[1]
Deliverable Mini-Soybean grades for futures contracts on the Chicago Board of Trade are: #2 Yellow at contract price, #1 Yellow at a 6 cent/bushel premium, #3 Yellow at a 6 cent/bushel discount[1]
Mini-Sized vs. Regular Soybean Futures
Mini-Sized Soybean Futures are identical in every way to the standard Soybean Futures traded on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) except that the contract size is significantly smaller (1000 bushels vs. 5000 bushels) compared to standard Soybean Futures.
