As of 31 December 2007, the National Stock Exchange of India had 1,330 listed companies[1] with a combined market capitalization of $1.7 trillion.[2] It is India's second largest stock exchange, behind the Mumbai Stock Exchange, and the world's twelfth largest stock exchange by market capitalization.
