The New York Board of Trade is a futures exchange located in New York City, New York. The NYBOT is comprised of several formerly independent, niche exchanges including the New York Cotton Exchange (NYCE); the Coffee, Sugar, and Cocoa Exchange (CSCE); the New York Futures Exchange (NYFE); and the Financial Instruments Exchange (FINEX). While futures contracts traded on the NYBOT are sometimes described in terms of these sub-exchanges, more often a contract is simply listed as trading on the NYBOT with these exchanges functioning as sub-categories within the exchange.
The NYBOT is owned and operated by IntercontinentalExchange (ICE), which also owns and operates the IntercontinentalExchange (ICE) and the Winnipeg Commodity Exchange (WPG).
