Doesn't use Bulls/Bears because he has his own strategy that works and does not think other opinions are helpful. Has preset searches that he conducts and nothing else
Likes the comparison feature on Slide 4
Would like to see short interest on the metrics page - real time (no one does this without a fee)
Search - Can you search by highest dividend yield for entire universe of stocks? The ability to search for the things that people want to most see. Would like to see specific parameters for key metrics. Would like to see more advanced search functions - show saved searches, show companies by industry that have X or Y variable, show what other people are searching, show what other people hold or are trading, show what people are holding, show what past recommendations are and what's happened after their recommendations have occurred.
Likes Covestor because people cannot commit fraud on portfolio data
Would like to see an industry or sector overlay page
Contributes to married puts on Wikipedia, but doesn't contribute to Wikinvest.
Thinks Wikinvest content is pretty weak compare to Investopedia, but likes the human connection. Content is generated by professionals, answers are shorter, most basic understanding there.
Uses Investools for conducting research. Don't like other people's opinions about stocks. Uses stock screeners to reduce bias and then creates a category of information to make investment decisions with. All technical indicators from Propacharts combined with all fundamental indicators from Reuters, and then new indicators from comparison metrics (% recent called away, % return not called away, breakeven analysis)
Uses Think or Swim's options analytics tools - Sizzle index - which companies have liquidity, good information to know when making covered calls.
DEFINITELY wants templates and a WYSIWYG editor, he said not all people are very tech saavy
Likes the idea of a template -
Looks at top 10 up/down and most commonly traded odd lots, most commonly search symbols
Thinks Wikinvest is easier to use that Wikpedia, but doesn't find wiki syntax to be intuitive at all
Not sure contributor report would be valuable since the ability to create new content is going to be hard as time goes on
Made a comment on Facebook, but has not heard a response

Add Buy-side analysts numbers - never trust PEG and Forward PE.
Show number of analysts that are covering it
Tool for discounted cash flow analysis (for advanced users) - Currently do this on excel, would be nice to add some technical analysis tools for investors like these, uses Capital Like You program
High quality ad-free information, not much chatter, posts content, charts are not up to date,
Levels of dispute resolution, flags, or a person can write a note about why something should be changed/altered
SEC Website, Morning star, valueline, organic community - private group on Yahoo, Gurus, San Francisco Reflect, geeks from Silicon Valley, Quality of comments to be
Never encountered technical problem, edit has been very positive
Can we enable HTML? Can we give top contributors badges? A senior directors badge? that can be put on their personal blog
Tom Shohfi
Depends on who your audience is (this needs to be defined more explicitly)
Soft points are a lot harder to capture that other stuff
Site with great ownership data - starts with an M...
Wants more information about what these numbers mean
Uses it to educate others, Editor took over on LIBOR and he stopped using, curious to see what other people are doing, good place to get ideas about stocks that aren't popular
Idea for someone who publishes in a trustworthy source to get a badge on their profile?
Ownership of an article - how can we dispute
Uses Motley Fool CAPS, compensation system for people who get high scores on Motley Fool, communities stock market communities, uses Yahoo Finances, name screen for a stock, balance sheet for a stock, key statistics, they are having a hard time with the accuracy of their numbers. Don't have quarterly stock info. Better quality data. CAPS puts in picks from big/small Wall Street firms. Impact credibility.
Was a top contributor of LIBOR, but when editor intervened it was a turnoff
Ownership for an article - how does a top contributor work?
Problems with floating windows (Wikicharts) in Firefox
How can people promote their business. How can I put bio in the article?
Wants traffic and reputational currency, not money.
Feature a blogger on Daily Angle, doesn't want cash handouts?
Wants more updates on what Wikinvest is doing (email)

I am pretty new to Wikinvest. I wrote an article quite some time ago, but I came back recently after the launch of the WikinvestWire. I contribute to continue to enhance my online reputation, hopefully both helping people out as well as potentially driving them to my institutional or retail websites as well
I am a frequent contributor to Seeking Alpha. I have been frustrated with how slowly they have moved to let me know how popular (or not) my articles are. I sure would appreciate any move Wikinvest would make on this front. You (and Seeking Alpha) get a lot of "free" content - it seems like we aren't asking a lot to get some performance metrics.
This is the only wiki to which I contribute - still not sure I am a fan quite frankly of the concept, but willing to try!
