Omniture, Inc. (NASDAQ:OMTR) provides online business analytics and data software. Its products are delivered through the Omniture Online Marketing Suite and consist of many applications to educate about and help optimize user trending for clients' websites. Its online business optimization platform includes Omniture SiteCatalyst, Omniture Discover, Omniture Genesis and Omniture SearchCenter.[1]

In fiscal 2008, OMTR had a net loss –$44.77 Million on revenues of $295.6 Million. Compared to 2007 revenues of $143 Million and a 2007 net loss of –$9.43 Million, fiscal 2008 saw a 107% increase in revenue and a 374% decline in net income.[1] The company attributes this massive loss to "significant investments that [Omniture] has made in [their] network infrastructure and sales and maketing, as well as stock-based compensation..."

On January 17th, 2008, Omniture acquired all outstanding voting stock of direct competitor Visual Sciences (VSCN), thus consolidating the industry.[1]
