Pepsi is a brand name associated with several different companies.
- PepsiCo is the iconic American beverages company that manufacturers a concentrated syrup used to produce Pepsi beverages. The company also sells snacks and foods through its FritoLay and Quaker Foods divisions.
PepsiCo contracts with several independent bottling companies, who purchase syrup under long-term contracts and bottle it to create canned and bottled soda. These bottlers include:
- The Pepsi Bottling Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pepsico which bottles Pepsi beverages in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Spain, Greece, Turkey, and Russia
- PepsiAmericas, Inc., A smaller bottler which accounts for 19% of all PepsiCo beverages sold in the United States, and also has operations in Central Europe and the Carribean
