Investment U's Alexander Green says that the Natioinal savings rate does not take into account pre-tax dollars nor matching contributions to 401k in the definition of "National Savings Rate" http://www.investmentu.com/IUEL/2007/20070423.html. Is Green's definition correct? Joan
